Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of puffintrace.com (the “Site”) and the PuffinTrace Exchange application (the “Exchange”), operated by DK1 Capital LLC (“DK1 Capital”, “we”). By using the Site or the Exchange, you agree to these terms.
Use of the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site or the Exchange, attempt to disrupt or probe them, or use them in violation of applicable law. Content and branding on the Site are owned by DK1 Capital and may not be reproduced without permission.
Access requests
Submitting a request for access does not create a contract, an account, or a guarantee of access or service. We review each request and may invite you to the Exchange. We use your submission as described in our Privacy Policy.
Accounts and invitations
The Exchange is invite-only. When we invite you, we set up an account and a private sandbox for your email address; you can use them only after you accept the invitation and sign in. If you do not want them, email hello@puffintrace.com and we will delete them. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, WorkOS, with email and password or with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. We may suspend or remove access, for example to protect other users or the service.
Early access sandbox
During early access, each invited team works in its own sandbox with synthetic (invented) data. The sandbox does not make bookings, does not send anything to real providers, and does not move freight or money. Do not enter real shipment, customer or commercial data.
Requests are not bookings
A request on PuffinTrace Exchange describes a shipping need. Creating or sending a request, reviewing a proposal, or starting a new request from a past shipment does not create a booking, a contract of carriage, a dispatch or a payment obligation. Any commercial commitment is made separately between you and a provider.
Capabilities and examples on the Site
Features marked “Pilot — not yet available” are not offered today. Examples on the Site use invented names and data. Capabilities may change as the Exchange evolves.
Fees
Core participation is free during early access. We do not collect payment details through the Site or the Exchange.
No warranty
The Site and the Exchange are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, DK1 Capital is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or the Exchange.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
